Hot off the bench pistol!

So when I began building this piece I wanted to build a pistol that imulated the work of the frontier craftsmen using old parts and making things work. This is my rendition of the frontier pistol!

Sir; Your intended theme of a frontier crafted pistol, I believe was a great idea and a great job to completion. Nice job. Thanks for sharing with the form.  AJ

Very sleek!!  I like it a  lot!! Your craftsmanship is amazing.  Only suggestion I can make.....and this is just my personal preference.....If you had it to do over again.....is to make the lock panels smaller in the rear and stepped down from the barrel in the front...  that would add to the slender lines of the gun.... to my eye.

Can't wait to see your next one!!!!

Something makes the lock look tiny. Maybe it is tiny. Did you use a "Becky's lock?"
