Could someone please suggest a Ga. or thickness of sheet brass to inlet in a stock around a patch box.
I'm not sure what gauge to use. Thank You , D

I'd use either .040 or .050 thousands.. Just to have a little extra to file out any dings or dents...

.051 is 16ga.
A good size to work with.
I also prefer thousandths.
