Pennsylvania Rifle Works

Has there been any research done on the Pennsylvania rifle works? Where it was located, years in operation, if they made rifles or if they just made locks, barrels, parts.

I would be interested in knowing more, too.  Found only one mention in Kaufman.   I have a Pennsylvania Rifle Works half stocked percussion rifle with a long .31 caliber barrel, brass lockplate.  Single acting double set triggers, no half cock on tumbler.

The Pennsylvania Rifle Works was located in Philadelphia, owned by George and Robert Dunlap and was in operation 1837-1858.
