An percussion rifle made by H. Warner of Montgomery County, OH (Possibly from Grafton Station, Ohio). He is listed as a gunmaker in the 1850 census. This rifle has had no work done to it and is in the original condition. When I purchased it from a family friend several years ago, it had been in the same family for over 100 years. The overall length of the rifle is: 58 1/2 inches. The Length of Pull is: 14 Inches. The .36 caliber swamped barrel is: 43 inches in length. I put it up on gunbroker today and wanted to share the photos of it with ALR members. I took quite a few.

Interesting that the pipes are filed "square" not octagon, and the entry pipe is kind of stunted. Nice rifle tho. Does a good job of showing that the old timers weren't afraid to let those barrel lugs show thru the groove huh?
