OK, been working on this for about 6 months.
Started out being a plain gun, with nice piece of wood. Well, it evolved to what you see here.
Absolutely the toughest working piece of wood I've EVER used. Pretty, but very brittle. Had to make several repairs along the way.
Styled after John Rupp #6 in 2010 KRA Presidents CD.
Red maple stock, Getz 46" Rupp profile barrel, modified Chamber's Siler lock, hand made inlays, brass hardware. Lightly aged finish on both wood and metal.
No Sand paper used, my first with scrapers only. Gives the figure a kinda neat washboard effect.
