Turkey call

A while back I was asked to make a turkey call for the ruffed grouse society...it is to be part of a fowling  set...horn...pouch..and call.

Here is the result...the elements were taken from their logo

Man, that is a fine Turkey call.  Reallylike the blue.  The scrim is serious stuff...and on bone!  Too sweet.

No blue...bad lighting.  The neck cord is waxed cotton, black.  the wraps on the call are dk brown linen, treated with beeswax.
