Horn for the ARMY Heritage Education Center

Well I was asked about 7weeks ago to make a Philly screw tip horn to be presented to the AHEC ..(where the Guilds Meeting will be held) so this is what I came up with combined a few features from several original horns that I liked.. I was going to engrave it but decided because AHEC may want to raffle this horn off that I would give them the option of who wins it that I will engrave the winners name on it ..The outside curve measures 14" te base plug is 2 3/4" diameter .. the pictures were takin today at AHEC the one with the mortar is in a redout they had built there ..the other pictures are on stuff in buildings and outside of buildings they have there..

Beautiful piece...the contrast between the black and white is really really nice.

nice real nice. it took a while for the hole pic to show .so the first part all I saw was the tip of the mortar with its plug thought that was the back of the horn at first ;D
