On the blog. Nice work, Scott, even if that barrel is SO SHORT! ;D

Alliteration - great!  Now let's all go re-read "The Wanderer..."

Break out the ale, lots of it.

This piece has some fantastic lines - beautiful job Scott.  Beautiful!

Kermit, you hurt my feelings.

Scott is building me a 54 caliber with a 38 inch barrel.

Nice rifle Scott.

I like it too.  I like the idea of a longrifle where there is no carving, but the architecture is pushed to the degree it can stand on it's own as a thing of beauty.

Thanks Guys! I'm grateful for the complements and there is nothing better than a good review from some of the best hands in the craft!
Ive built several of these and overall it is my favorite Schimmel/Barngun pattern to build. They just seem to fit most guys, even the ones that look at it and say, "I would never be able to shoot that" and I like them personally which always makes them more fun to build. That "B" weight 50 in 38" is a pleasure to carry in the woods and probably makes up 75% of what I get calls for.
Thanks again and great to hear it from some guys that I really admire!
