Small Flattened Bag or Pocket Horn
«

Just Piddling around in the shop this last weekend and made this little horn. Small and simple in construction and I engraved a 16th century mythical seahorse on it from an old wood-cut illustration. Maybe I can call it a half a day horn!
7 inches long
2" base (top to bottom)
1" in thickness
Thanks for looking,
Rick

Very nice work really appealing. It'd be real handy for a sub .30 cal rifle, call it a "squirrel gun horn". One'd be neat with squirrels, oak leaves and acorns on it wish I had that talent

Now that's a neat little horn! Nice job, Rick.

I'd love to try and make one, just don't know where to begin
Love the one you made.

Chapple Jr,
Get a copy of the Book of Buckskinning VI, it has a whole section on making flattened horns.
