Charles Burton barrels

Just an FYI for you guys. Charles Burton is making barrels up to 48" long now. I just ordered one...

Cool! I had him make me a straight rifled barrel, he said it was the first one he had done! I still haven't done anything with it, though. My gunbuilding has been way on the back burner for some time now.

I just recieved last week from mr Burton a swamped .62 cal rifled barrel. It was my first Burton barrel and in fact the first one Id ever laid eyes and hands on. WOW I was very very impressed. Its quality an workmanship that you can see. It will not be my last

Glad to hear you like the barrel. I have only heard good things about Burton barrels. Nary a single naysayer.

My 44", .47 caliber should be arriving very soon...
And I just ordered a 48", .38 caliber swamped octagon.

I ordered a .44 from him a few weeks back and intend to order a .52 sometime in the future.

I saw his barrels down at the Jackson's Mill NMLRA show a couple of years ago and was very impressed with the workmanship.
