They look great.  When I make a bag, I have to put all kinds of pockets in them, so that I can separate the many things I carry.  Have you made internal pockets?  I like to have a separate bag and horn for each gun.  It keeps me busy making bags and horns.
The colour and finish is superlative.

Those are two really nice bags, excellent workmanship!  I partiularly like the looks of the top one.   What weight leather are you using?  If that is iron hardware, where do you find it?

Both of the bags are sewn with waxed linnen thread the top one has a pocket and the bottom one is lined with red pillow ticking. The flap is lined with home taned  white buckskin. The leather 3-4 oz. veg taned

David..I really like the looks and color of the top bag.  Can you please post more pics of inside and back, dimensions, type of leather, etc.

Top notch work

Dennis..thanks for the additional photos...much appreciated.  I have ventured once into the bag making process and although I liked the result I made mistakes.  Looking at various ideas for another project and also purchased several reference books.  working on a bag/horn/accouterment project.

thank you again for additional photos.

Well done indeed!  Those are exceptionally nice, both in layout and execution.  I'd be proud to carry either of them, and that's a fact!
