J. J. Henry Philadelphia lock

I'm hoping somebody could help me out with a few good photographs of
an original fliint lock marked J. J. Henry Philadelphia.  I'm considering a
reconversion and would like it to be as accurate as possible.  Thanks in
advance.

  Look in the library at the Henry Derringer rifle.  If you need better pictures  I can takes some when time permits.    JIM

I suspect you're looking for photos of the entire rifle (?), but here's an image of a lock (from Henry of Boulton) on which the stamp is placed differently than in that Derringer rifle in the ALR library:

The Derringer lock is a pretty close match thank you.  I will also say that
I would still like to see one marked J. J. Henry Philadelphia for accuracy.

TRS has a J Henry lock set cast from the original that should get you parts close to what you need.

Good evening Sir; Rob, On pages # 64 & # 66 in the book by Charles E. Hanson Jr. "THE HAWKEN RIFLE: ITS PLACE IN HISTORY". Copyright 1979 James A. Hanson. The FUR Press Chadron Nebraska 69337 you will find four pictures of J. Henry and a picture of a J.J. Henry rifles. These rifles were at "The Museum of the Fur Trade" at that time period. Go to internet and type in JJ Henry Rifles. and you will see an " outstanding" site. Larry Walker and Steve Hill Henry Rifle builders. I have no connection with this site or the people concerned. Our Art Museum has a nice and well used example of a heavy
J.Henry rifle in the collection.I made a half baked version of
it about 50 years ago..
