Thanks for announcing the Landis Valley event.

Here's more info:

SATURDAY Without saying which rifle--the unveiling of the rifle at 11:00 Saturday will be the first public showing of an important rifle, known by all, but almost never seen. YOU WILL BE IMPRESSED.

1:00 -John Kolar and I will review the Lancaster Long Rifle Exhibit which is still on display in the Visitor's Center on the same property, so this is the best time to see all of the events

3:00 Reaves Goehring will do his usual entertaining analysis of brass gun parts

6:00 to 9:00 John Kolar and I will appraise muzzle loading rifles brought in by the public---call Mike Emory at Landis Valley at 717-569-0401, extension 254 for more information.

Sunday 12:30 I will analyze the two Martin Mylin rifles and announce the latest findings. In addition, Dr. Tim Trussell of Millersville University will review the findings of the Mylin gunshop archaeological dig.

2:00 - Scott Gordon will review the life and times of William Henry

3:30 Richie Hujsa - "Mr. Fowler" will talk about Pennsylvania fowlers - six are in the Exhibit.

During the weekend there will be rifle and barrel making demonstrations, musket shoots and more -  THIS IS A GREAT WEEKEND OF PENNSYLVANIA  RIFLE EVENTS-

Scott:

Sounds like a great meeting! Is it $12/day or $12 for both days? I'll really be interested to see what Patrick has to say about Mylin. Scott, will you be there on Saturday?

Martin

I just called Landis Valley & the operator said it's $12/day so $24 for both days.

I hope to be there Saturday as well as Sunday.

Patrick - is one of the rifles you're talking about (Mylin) RH's old rifle from years ago?  Neat gun.
Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords, is no basis for a system of government!
