Small Belt Knife/Scalper

Just finished this one.
6" Blade of 0-1 steel
4" Full tang handle, Iron pins, Cherry slabs with Rawhide wrap.
Belt sheath of veg tan leather and rawhide wrap.
Deer hair, Brass cones.

Tim, Hmm... time period.
As far as I know the knife could pass for a quite early time period, But I am yet to see any documentation on this style sheath, Its one of those things that people like, work well, and dont seem to get questioned.

That's what I was thinking.
