.........one get "bark tanned"  leather to make bags? I'd love to get ahold of some to make some bags.

Go to Vandykes taxadermy supplies and get a dehairing kit and a basin tan DLE kit and tan your own .It's kind of messy but real easy.I've had success every time I've done it and thats been probably 50 times or so. The only messy part is the fleshing and dehairing.
