Have not posted anything in a while so before you all think I gave it up here is one i finished recently.
A horn of the Lake George School made for a good friend and guild member, Rick Sheets. This horn was an extreme pleasure to do and features numerous Samuel Loundsbury influences. Beneath the name a contemporary fox with 18th century influence. Only item on the horn that is not "historically correct".
16" on the outside curve
3" across the base.
plug and stopper are cherry
cabochon on base is from bone.
...and yes it is a left-hand carry.
