York County Pair
« on: September 21, 2012, 06:41:51 AM »
This is a set of York County screw tips that will be paired with bags made by Frank Willis.  The photos show the two horns and Frank's finished horn.  i will post follow-up pics when mine is finished and they are paired with the bags.

As these are the first york County horns I have done there was some details missed.  I did not make a shoulder for the srewtips, the tips do not fit into the horns to double as a funnel and the base plugs could have been improved a bit.  overall Frank and I are happy with the results.  and of course..I had to add my flair and add some engraving.

Again, magnificent work and coloration on the horn.  Can't wait to see them paired with the bags.

Ahtuwisae,  You've been a busy boy!  Beautiful horns!  Wish I was nearby for some
tutilage of my own.
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.

What type of wood are you using for the end(s)?
