Hap Spangler rifle
« on: October 11, 2012, 06:52:13 PM »
Well the early percussion muzzleloader season is 2 days away here in western PA.  Took out
the Leonard Reedy style rifle made in 1967 by Hap Spangler that I hadn't ever fired and put 70
grains behind a 440 ball with .010
patch and the former owner wasn't lying to me.  From a prone position she was dead on at 50 yards.  Took 3 shots within a 2 inch circle.  Cleaned her back up and hoping to see that heavy 8 point that's on my
trail cam Saturday morning.  Gettin excited :)

Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.
