A horn tobacco box with horn candle holder threaded into the lid. The candle is a ready source of flame to light the pipe. When in storage there is a threaded knob that screws in to the lid.
The phrase: A full pipe and gill of harty rum are the fathers of abiding frendships and fertel revery's
