Not wanting to hijack your thread, I am starting anew post.
Here is the lock that does not work.

The kit lock.  This is the man I sold the gun to.

my design that works.  it went with the gun I sold.

This one just needs a stronger dog spring to make it work.


Four years ago I sold my gun building tools and moved to México where I am not building guns.  Long story.

I will not be writing about the aesthetics and desing. let's concentrate on the mechanical nuances wheellock.
