Unboxing Track of the Wolf's Bucks County flintlock rifle kit
« on: November 05, 2012, 02:46:06 PM »
I am starting a project to build a Bucks County style flintlock long rifle using a kit from Track of the Wolf. This project will take me quite a while, and I'll give you periodic video updates as the work progresses. In this video I'll show you exactly what come in the Track of the Wolf kit.

One question....the stock you show is a Verner but the Bucks County LR shown on  TOW's website is a Shuler style. What are you going to make? Can the pictured  Bucks County LR be made from that precarve?.....Fred

According to Track their Bucks County kit has a Verner stock.

It looks like the stock in this picture to me, but I'm no expert in PA rifle making schools.

Looks to me like most of the guns that TOW use for illustration are a customer's gun, which illustrates an example of what may or may not be done with the kit. The research and details are left up to the builder. These are components that are grouped together into a kit, not a kit to reproduce a particular gun.

"Parts set" might be a more accureate description.
