Historicly hard to get a hold of and get stuff,,,,sometimes. Had no problem in the '80's,a lot more so lately. Keep trying.

Yes, they are still in business.  They were at the big Wanenmacher gun show in Tulsa last weekend.  Keep trying.

It doesn't appear to be a high volume business. They are very limited and work with stuff that nobody else will even consider. Be patient.

They are a small shop basically 3 folks and while they are great folks. But communications isnt thier strong suit.   Expect filling an order to take 6 months to a year and plan accordingly.    I tend to email them on both the trshoppe@aol.com address and the webmaster@therifleshoppe.com address about every 2 weeks.  Typically they answer every 3rd email.   Keep in mind most parts are not kept in stock but prepped for casting at order.   THe wax pattern has to be made up, tree'd up with other items to have enough to make a mold and take to the foundry.  If you do not get a good casthing (they are very picky about getting us the best possible product) it all gets chunked back into remelted and you have to start over.   But getting such great parts is very slow

Why do they remelt "good" castings.  Do they only sell the bad ones?
