ALR Library... Any suggestions for improvements?
« on: December 24, 2008, 04:46:36 PM »
March 10, 2009

I'm at a loss for words to thank everyone for their enthusiastic support of the ALR Library. I doubt any of us could have imagined having a hundred guns on exhibit in less than three months.

The goal is to always deliver a better product to patrons and we're open to suggestions. Certainly there are things we can't accomplish due to software constraints, time, and other factors. On the other hand, perhaps we might do better and we need your input to do so.

Your comments are most welcome.

Can you explain the numbering system that you are using to identify each gun?  Is it something that is standard among collectors like a Dewey Decimal system or something you can up with on your own.

The number is the date in this order  YY/MM/DD - number of gun received that day.

Today is January 5, 2009, thus today number is 090105. The first gun received today would the be 090105-1, the second would be 090105-2.
