Medicine tumbler

It has been some time since I posted so I figured I better put something up here so you all don't think i kicked the bucket!!

This is a medicinal horn tumbler that is engraved with the Caduceus of Mercury or more commonly known as the Medical Standard.  The other side is engraved with units of measure for administering oral medication.  The bottom is chimed in. Also included is a small mixing spoon of 1/8 teaspoon of measure.  The spoon was made from flat horn the bowl was carved and the handle pressed into shape.

Enjoy

That is really neat, I take it that when filled with liquid the horn is thin enough to see it at the level marks.

Very nice.

Willy it is just two blocks of wood cut to the shape you want the curve of the handle to be.  Important to note the handle was the only thing pressed into shape.  the bowl was too small for that and was carved.
