Yet another great looking rifle by Ken Gahagan on the blog

More eye pleasing views from Ken. I like the way the wood trap tappers or seems to tapper in width and thickness and looks to me like its headed in the right direction. The overall look of the gun is just what I would envision a Lancaster gun to look like. Subdued yet elegant. There are many talented smiths working today and Ken would have to be considered as one from the top shelf IMHO.

+1.  All his work looks real, which is more complicated and hard to achieve than it sounds.

I'll second the thought that it looks real. The curl really pops and the color looks spot on to many originals. I love the golden warm tone to the finish. Realistic metal aging. It all appeals to me.
