2 knives
« on: February 10, 2013, 11:33:18 PM »

The larger of the two has a whitetail leg bone handle, the smaller is caribou antler.

I was reminded to wear safety glasses when pouring pewter. As I poured pewter into the leg bone I had an air pocket burst and shoot pewter into my eyes. It went everywhere. I got lucky...other than a bit of a burning sensation all is well

Very good. The large one is very French in blade shape, pretty much the Boucheron scalper blade. I see you know to use smallish iron pins. A good touch many overlook. As far as I can tell by the photos, you brought the blade bevels down very well for a good sliceing edge. Blade patina is excellent, especially on the large one, and an excellent finish color. Very well done as far as I see.
