This is a project that took me some time to complete. It is a contemporary horn with F&I influences. It has a map from ft Frederick to ft necessity....some typical text....an outline of ft Frederick and an early federal eagle. there is much i would not have put on this horn personally but it is a customer design. the base and spout plug are cherry..horn dyed with rit. Base also has a bone cabochon inlay. No engrailing...instead i used coved panels to offset the throat.

That is a fine looking horn. The architecture, engraving and color are first class.

First class John. The panels are a nice touch and i like the cabochon. The eagle looks period to me. you nailed it. Your customer will be thrilled. Rob

Once again inspiration has been given to me. Everytime I see awesome work like Mr. Dewald's, Mr. Dumke's, or any other number of horners on here, I get inspired to head to my work bench!! Thanks fellas!!
