Northampton Characteristics
« on: March 10, 2013, 06:41:19 AM »
A while back I read a post detailing the distinctive qualities of Northampton rifles.  If I remember correctly, the description was offered by three or four gunbuilders in a single post.  For the life of me, I can't find that post.  Any help would be appreciated...

Ronald Gabel published a booklet containing three articles based on presentations he gave to the American Society of Arms Collectors concerning the Northampton School of gunsmithing.  Dixon's used to sell copies. I believe it was titled "Thoughts on the Northampton School of Pennsylvania Gunsmithing".
