flintlock stamped pp

i've got a rh large siler that has a pp stamped on the inside of the lock does any one have a clue who or where this lock came from i got it years ago at a gun show, seems to be a very good lock its going in a new rifle i'm building
any help would be appreciated

I understand the initials on the inside identify the person who assembled it the lock.   Barbie or Jim might be able to tell you who pp is.
