This same original rifle made by Wiley Higgins from what is now Macon Co. GA is pictured in full color in the book "Steel Canvas" by  R.L. Wilson. That is where Norm Fladerman got the picture for his 9th edition. Hey Grizhead, welcome to the ALR forum! Great rifle! Thank you for sharing the pictures.....and you too Dan.

Hey Grizhead, welcome to the forum as well. In our club he is still known as "Sasquatch"!
I've been telling him about this forum for years. He is one of the finest shooters I've ever known!
I hope your shoulder heals up soon so you'll back in the woods with us! It's been a while.
I could give you a price to reproduce a gun like that....but I don't know if you or I will live long enough for me to ever finish it. Wow!
