Patch box retaining peg on originals
« on: April 11, 2013, 06:00:59 AM »
In response to another question on this fourm, Daryl mentions not finding what ever in his patch box and I assume it was from it opening up unnoticed. this has happened to me several times too so I was wondering if any of the originals had two noches in the stud that engages the patchbox spring. I am at that stage in a current build and was thinking of putting two catch notches in the stud. That way if you happened to bump the release button it would only open to the second notch.

I've never seen it on an original.
