Making all the last-minute preparations for the table shoot tomorrow, Saturday the 29th and the chunk gun shoot Sunday the 30th at A.W. Coons on the 29th tables will open approximately 8 o'clock will be shooting till around two. I heard there might be a little precipitation events in the morning. We will start a later and move everything forward appropriately the weather sounds pretty good for the overlong shoot on Sunday so come on over will have a good time no matter how you look at.

Three of us are planning on arriving about 9:00. Hopefully we won't get too wet

Wish we had some around SE Michigan. I have a .42 caliber 45-3/4" barrel heavy Tennessee rifle on which someone has restored the tumbler & such inside stuff, along with installing an Ampco 45 nipple. Betcha it has been used in matches in recent decades. Tempted to get it back into service. Though maybe the hammer braze repair might not hold up too well.

Got home from the table shoot a few hours ago exhausted but exhilerated. 25-26 shooters, a little rain and clouds and sun alternating all day long. Made a few good shots but more that weren't so good but glad I went over. Robin put on another good show and I think everyone had a good time. Win lose or draw, being with a great bunch of fellows all day makes the effort well worth it. Looking forward to the next shoot but also looking forward to seeing everyone again soon. Was good to see Paul feeling up to making the trip.

Annother good time with the boys from Indiana and Ohio.  There was some great shooting yesterday and makes me wonder if I wil ever be able to compete with them. But, we had a good time and enjoyed the company of everyone once again. Looking forward to the next one.

I'm glad you all had a good time. Thanks for coming, I think Robin is going to try and do another one sometime this fall. It was good to see such a large turnout, young and old! I think next time we will have a third table and target rack in the shed just in case we have a  large turn out. Thanks everyone who donated prizes. See you all at the next one.  Mike
