While visiting a friend, he said that he had a muzzleloader and produced a large cal probably near 70 cal. heavy percussion bench gun. The barrel was drilled for a bullet starter which is missing, the only markings on the gun is on the hand made lock which is engraved James A. Ash. Does anyone know this person or have any information on this gun?
