Over the years there have been many different assemblers, either working on their own or for one of the lock makers, such as Chambers, L&R, Davis and others.
Those makers are surely familiar with the markings of the assemblers that worked directly for them.
On the other hand, Silers were assembled by lots of folks, often working on their own. Even so, some of those guys, like Herman Stone, and Walter Cain put together so many locks that they are also well known.
As far as a actual list, I don't know of one.
