Nice group. I'm particularly drawn to the "Faber rifle" inspired piece.

Mike, I just love the way you extend the wrist past the comb into the stock of the gun. That creates such a great line for the piece. Excellent stuff!!!

Hi Mike,
Very nice guns.  You've got to stop playing with those "sireens".

Click on each gun and there are at least a 1/2 dozen or more pictures of each.

I'm pretty excited about the french gun, I have several orders for these with 51 1/4" (4 pieds). I'm using my original french fusil de trait barrel as a pattern. I am of course fond of the "JENKINS" Liberty gun too, I thought the color was interesting as well as the archetecture. I think the french gun has some nice archetecture around the lock also. It has an upper and lower forestock molding too which really helps slim down the forestock like the old ones.

My personal favorite is the Bess. The Rogers Rangers engraving is a nice touch.

Mike, ever think about building double barrels both shotguns and rifles? Give us shooters a choice other than Pedersoli.

Mike, the Borders double looks tremendous--really beautiful engraving, and the rest of the smoothies you posted are fantastic.  I have been admiring your work for many years and it just keeps getting better.  Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. The Borders double was engraved by John Schippers of Fishers IN. The barrels were breeched up by the owner and he also cast the coin silver trigger guard and entry pipe. I basically stocked this one and that was about it.

LOL!@RobbY! My wiener dog found a great big one last week. Didn't know what to do with it after mouthing it a bit so he tried burying it on the run! Every time the toad jumped,Sam would try to "muzzle" over the poor critter with dirt, moss etc...
I like the frenchie...hey they're all pretty sweet except that limey BB thing that looks like it got run over by the honey truck! Needs a few more axe chips,no offense Mike.hehe. You know I love your work.
