Gunbroker.com question
« on: July 24, 2013, 06:25:52 PM »
Am I imagining things or do the auctions on Gunbroker.com show 1 day left with X number of
bids and a week later it shows the same # of bids with more days left on the auction?  Are they
extending auctions with active bids on this site?

Morning...They don't extend the auction.  The only explanation I can think of is the auction was a reserve auction and the number of bids did not meet reserve...the seller relisted it and it must have had the same number of bids when you checked the relisted item with a new "days left".  I've seen  an auction where it didn't meet reserve, was relisted and the same folks bid the same amount again.  Another quirk GB has is in the last 15 minutes of the auction, every bid will extend the time left back to 15 minures so folks won't get slammed...Hope this helps...Carl
