Nice set, T.C.
« on: August 10, 2013, 06:30:01 PM »
His bag/horn set on the blog is my idea of a proper kit. I've liked the idea of a bag well made by a saddler or other leather tradesman, and the nicely done, simple, unadorned horn is a great match. You nailed it, T.C.!

Had to look up "slunk." It's a prematurely born calf or other animal, for you Scrabble players.

Thanks guys...I sincerely appreciate the good words. I cant claim the design though as I copied an old original double complete with the slunk flap...finding the proper colored and affordable slunk calf hide was a bit of an ordeal, but it sure is fine haired stuff...
thanks again,

A blog entry like that is priceless for beginners like myself. It really details how you did it and that deserves some thanks! Plus it's great to look at, I'm a fan of the finish you use on your pouches.
