Well I ll add a few for you .
Watch your stock thickness and lines .
Only take out just enough wood for the main spring to work , don’t go to deep .
Remember that wood is coming out of the wrist area which makes it weak . So having a little thicker wrist can help . If that’s not an option , the a longer tang can be used to help reinforce the wrist that becomes really helpful on SXS where you end up with even less wood in the wrist . When you do the tang bolt to trigger , keep this up forword in the bolster area of the lock , not back in the main spring area . Again its about keeping as much wood back there as you can .
