The past two weeks were the MD modern firearm season. Carried the .270 some days and shot a few does, but some days and spots I carred my 16 ga smoothrifle I finished last spring. Finally got her bloodied last Friday afternoon, with a whopping 20 yard shot. That .648 roundball does a wicked job on 'em, turned his insides into soup.
Best part is he's a buck I've never seen or had pics of, guessing my late season turnip/radish plots sucked him in from the neighbors. AND, still have two weeks of muzzleloader season starting this weekend!!
