Can anyone tell me about Kenny Robertson.   I have one of his powder horns which is well made with great schrimshaw work on it.
 I google and find nothing about him.  Just curious to know more about him and his horns.

Yes I found that link but it's not very helpful.
 Is Kenny Robertson still making horns.  Is he still alive.  The horn I have is very highly detailed with Scrimshaw.  Just curious of this person and why don't hear more about him.

My only suggestion would be to call the phone # and see if you get anybody. I notice that the Yelp review states that this business is closed. No date as to when this happened. You're right, his scrimshaw is very nice.

I just joined, so I'm late to this thread, and don't really have much to contribute except to say that when I bought a Kenny Robertson bag off the Contemporary Longrifles Association in Spring 2012, the seller said he had recently stopped making accoutrements. The seller also said that he was a well-known maker with Hollywood credits, etc.

I found a link that said his horns were used in the Movie The Alamo.
 He was really good with scrimshaw work. Wish I had another of his horns.

I see him 2 times a year , but I don't have his address.  Check on the Smokeyridge muzzloaders web site.  If you email someone on the site they will have his address and phone#.  He was  still making horns this fall.  I picked up a  used one last fall.  Beautiful horn.

I am sorry it is Mike Roberts who I know that makes beautiful horns.  The cold has done something to my brain   i guess.

I happen to be a personal friend to kenny. He doesnt make the powder horns as much any more. But if you want one, I'm sure he would make one. He would even personalize it if ya wanted him to.
