I don't think the best wire work people I know would do it on a gun made by someone else.    The only one I can think of who might consider it is Allan Sandy.

Mark, it doesn't hurt to ask. Maybe one of the best guys is looking for work right now.

I'd put this as a "Wanted: Wire Inlay Work" or some such, in the "Classified Section"

Hi Fleener,

First off, welcome to ALR.  Make yourself at home, we're glad to have you.

Now to your question.  There may be capable builders who might take on the work, but if the gun is already finished, that could be a problem, as the "wire" (actually flat ribbon) has to be filed flush with the wood and this is likely to remove the adjacent finish and stain.  It would be best if the gun is in the white, ready for stain and finish.

Wire inlay isn't as hard as it looks and you can make the necessary tools yourself.  Practice on some scrap similar to your stock.  Who knows?

Thank you .

The gun would be in the white.  Thinking about buying a Tip Curtis rifle and having it dressed up a little.

I have done some wire inlay on a couple of stocks.  But my skill level is not the end results that I would want for this rifle.

Thanks
