Arnolds Expedition Horn

Double Map Horn...done in my manner. Repurposed from a old horn...






About 80% complete...still have some scribing to go.  Then the leather strap...then the bag to match it...
Just sharing the madness.... ;D

Thanks Guys... :)

The fun part for me was doing the research on the maps. Trying to find period maps that traced Arnolds route was interesting. I have spent years on the Kennebec and know the river. Heck, even did a bateau trip from Fort Halifax to Fort Western in period gear.

I have never been on the Chaudierre river.  Would love to do a trip on it..... someday.

Nice Horn Giz.
I took part in the 1975 international re-enactment of Arnold's campaign to take Quebec. It stopped in all the towns and historic spots along the original route. A week on the way to Quebec and a week there all in period dress. What a blast.
