TOW Bucks County Rifle Kit Update #19
« on: January 29, 2014, 05:12:10 PM »
n this update of my progress building the Track of the Wolf Bucks County flintlock rifle kit I’ll be starting the process of getting the stock down to it’s final dimensions.

As I always say, I'm not a master builder. The way I do things is probably not the best way to do it. So, I'm happy to take advice that will help me during my next build

Thanks for sticking with the videos for this project.  It's encouraging to watch your progress.  You are very brave to use the course rasps and Sureforms (sp?) that you do.  I tend to use finer files and just go over it several times (over a number of sessions).  Part of that is my insecurity about taking off too much, but I'm finding my TOW pre-carve to have plenty of wood that needs to be removed.  Keep up the great work!
