Brass Powder Measures

Couple of brass powder measures I just made for a customer. The large one throws 100 grains of FFFg and the smaller one 80 grains. Half inch diameter for a .54 cal rifle.

How did you "age" them, Dave?

I received an 85 grain measure that Dave made for me. I like it a lot. Very well made and looks great. It has been aged and has a pour spout. Thanks Dave.

Dave, what are the bottoms made from, did you turn them or are they made from drawer pulls ?

Frank,
I turn the end closure on these measures from brass bar stock. I ground a form tool (actually several) with various designs for different items I make. I use this design for powder measures and horn swivels.

Nice, I like the sculpted mouth.
Did you make or buy the eye/swivel/ring? If bought, where?

Willy,
I make the eye/swivel/ring part as well.

Dave,
I am very closely associated with the gentleman you made those for and I can tell you he loves them! You do beautiful work.
