« on: April 06, 2014, 04:29:21 AM »
I showed you all the little horn container I made Thursday well I got it finished and made some more stuff today .
A little Bullet bag which will hold up to a 50 caliber ball . has a turned antler spout .. And a horn which is just a simple single banded horn with a staple in the maple base plug which has a diameter of 2 1/2" . the horn itself is 13 1/2" outside curve turn antler tip applied .. now the horn container is itself 1 3/4" diameter 3/4" high horn bottom ..

Glad to see your back to your bench... :)

Great looking gear!  I gave up buying leather dye. Fieblings is to expensive.  I make my own now and it costs about two bucks a pint.

Very nice work Ed. Is the pouch turned inside out? I can't see the stich in the pix.

They are a challenge. I find a piece of ramrod with one end pointed and the other rounded really helps.

I have a piece of 1/4 inch steel rod with a ball bearing brazed onto it. Very strong, very smooth.

I made one the other night turned inside out. Let's just say by the time I finally got it inside out it had taken on a "distressed" finish....
Ed, your horns are great, can't wait to see more!
