I'm not bragging, but have way too many to list here.
However, my two favourites are a Leman ( flint )in .54 with a 24" barrel, 1" across the flats, which is a nice gun for walking. I have used it for moose and whitetail with much success, also I have a .62 cal.( percussion ) 31" oct. to round barrel, in Pennsylvania longrifle fashion, which has been deadly on moose, whitetail, and groundhogs.
A short rifle is nice for tree stands, and climbing in and out of vehicles.

I truly believe people were stronger then.

And lived much shorter lives. :-\

Yep, life was a bit tougher "Back then" . I would have been dead from my first Asthma attack  :(. Or would have died this past May when I came down with Viral Encephalitis  :o. Spent 10 days going through 3 different antibiotics. I'll take the weaker but live longer route any day. A 4 1/2 pound barrel is about my limit for a rifle.

Yes, much shorter
James, glad to hear you're doing OK now.     Mark
