More barrel questions

On reconsidering I'd like to shorten my barrel from the breech but I don't have the skills to do this without butchery. Does anyone know of a black powder gunsmith with excellent machine shop abilities in the region around New Mexico? As always you assistance is appreciated. Arlin

I dont think Dennis McCandless down in Los Cruces does that work any more but he might know of someone close by that does.  575-382-1978

Do you already have the barrel?

If not, places like TOTW will cut and re thread the breech for 30 bucks before they ship it out.
