The stock is back ordered and that's ok, I knew it going in.
Ok, so I bought an Early Tennessee Longrifle parts set from Track.
Colerain 36", .54 cal, flintlock, steel furniture, CM3 stock.
The set calls for wedges but I have been having fits with cutting real neat wedge slots in Hawken style stocks and end up using slotted ovals to cover up the ugly slots. I can get the holes located, it's the space in between that tend to get a bit crazy. Do you guys have any suggestions of cutting neat wedges slots? My other option is to use pins.
