New Bag & Horn

Bag is a simple design using pigskin. There is an internal pocket and matching one on the back side. Lined with a antique blue fabric.

I've seen that fabric and similar versions of it here and there.  What exactly is it? What region is from, time period etc.? I've seen bags and other things made from "coverlets" of a similar fabric too.

I normally don't care for lined bags, BUT that is no criticism of others, it is just my personal preference. 

However, the antique material you chose for this pouch is VERY interesting.  There is something familiar about it that I can't put my finger on.  Would you mind mentioning what the material is and where it came from?  Curiosity compels me to ask.  Grin.

It was a remnant piece that came with some blue stroud that I bought.  Just like the look and used it in the design of the bag.

I got to tell you guys I am starting to feel out of place,,,,,,I use a BRASS FLASK, and I hide it in my all leather possibles bag so nobody can see it, I'm so ashamed............

How much powder does your Horn hold?

Holds about a pound....

Nothing wrong with using a flask. When I hunt....that's what I carry.
