I am curious as to "Tried & True" stock finish? Never heard of it. Did you mix it with Permalyn?

Many thanks again for the input.

Frenchy, Tried & True is a varnish oil.  Here's a link from woodcraft.  http://www.woodcraft.com/search2/search.aspx?query=tried%20and%20true
It's not mixed with the Permalyn, I used it as a top coat to bring up a little more shine.  The photos don't reflect it, but the rifle is a little more glossy than what's shown.
